Estates Clubhouse
El Presidio, the Estates Clubhouse, is a private retreat overlooking the water, designed for evenings by the fire, quiet mornings, and meaningful gatherings. Located in the heart of the Estates residential community on the banks of Freedom Lake, the largest lake on the ranch, El Presidio offers a setting unlike any other.
Enjoy sunsets over the Palo Pinto Mountains while relaxing in our stunning pool, hot tub, or around the outdoor bar and fireplaces. The Clubhouse is the perfect place to watch a game or spend time with friends and family, with its inviting living room-style atmosphere complete with a bar, beverage lockers, indoor and outdoor kitchens.
Members also have access to a workout area equipped with a variety of exercise equipment. A game room with pool tables and other activities, along with our outdoor sports court, gives kids a place to have fun and burn off energy.
An expansive pool deck, along with a fishing pier and boat dock, provides easy access to the lake for recreation and relaxation. Large covered porches invite members to unwind while taking in the incredible views.
Equestrian Facilities
Our comprehensive Equine Facilities feature stables, a full-size roping arena, an elevated lounge area for viewing and relaxing, and more than 40 acres of open pasture. From the stables, riders can access more than 50 miles of riding trails throughout the ranch, including creek and mountain trails for all skill levels. The rustic design of the stable and arena structures was inspired by the landscape and the independent spirit of the frontiersmen who settled the land where Ranger Ridge sits today.
Fishing & Boat Dock
Just below El Presidio sits Freedom Lake, a stunning 20-acre lake featuring a covered fishing and boat dock that offers the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon of catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, or even a refreshing swim.
The lake is professionally stocked and carefully managed, with dedicated breeding habitat designed to provide members access to some of the finest trophy bass fishing in Texas. For those who enjoy time on the water, quiet electric-powered center-console fishing boats are available for members to explore the lake and enhance their angling experience.
The dock features more than 2,000 square feet of covered space, along with elevated areas ideal for relaxing, taking in the views, and enjoying a variety of water activities.
Freedom Lake’s family-friendly atmosphere creates meaningful opportunities for generations to spend time together—whether teaching young anglers their first cast, sharing stories with grown children, or simply enjoying time outdoors with family and friends.
Sporting Grounds
The Ranger Ridge Shooting Complex is a world-class facility designed for precision, tradition, and developing the next generation of sportsmen. Thoughtfully designed to accommodate all ages and skill levels, the range offers opportunities for beginners and experienced shooters alike.
The rifle facilities include lanes beginning at 50 yards, with extended long-range targets spanning 100 to 700 yards, along with dedicated 25-yard pistol and bowhunting ranges. Well-appointed steel and tactical targets provide ideal setups for sighting in optics, sharpening fundamentals, or preparing for your next hunt.
Members also enjoy a variety of premier clay shooting courses, including separate Skeet, Trap, 5-Stand, and Sporting Clays, all with unlimited targets included as part of your membership.
At the heart of the complex is Peacemaker Pavilion, our private shooting range clubhouse. It serves as the perfect place to relax and recharge during a day at the range, offering a comfortable gathering space for family members and observers to enjoy while others are shooting. Peacemaker Pavilion also functions as an ideal venue for corporate events, private meetings, and group gatherings in a unique ranch setting.
Because safety is central to every shooting discipline, Ranger Ridge also offers training opportunities for shooters of all ages led by experienced firearms instructors and seasoned range masters.
Unmatched Hunting & Outdoor Experiences
Beyond the 800 acres of homesites and shared amenities within The Estates, Ranger Ridge stretches into thousands of acres of open country that form the heart of the Ranger Ridge Preserve. This pristine landscape is where members experience the true spirit of the ranch life, thriving wildlife, and unmatched outdoor recreation.
The ranch is home to more than 60 species of exotic and native game, creating exceptional opportunities for sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Wing shooting at Ranger Ridge offers premier hunting experiences, including seasonal waterfowl and dove hunts, as well as upland bird pursuits for quail, chukar, and pheasant, guided by experienced professionals and trained dogs.
Ranger Ridge also features more than 20 bodies of water, including five lakes of six acres or more. Overlooking the signature 20-acre Freedom Lake, El Presidio serves as the social centerpiece of the ranch. Each lake is professionally stocked and carefully managed to provide outstanding catch-and-release fishing while also enhancing habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife.
In addition to the ranch itself, members also have access to an adjacent 2,800-acre lease, further expanding the recreational footprint of Ranger Ridge and offering even more land to explore, hunt, and enjoy the outdoors.
