About Ranger Ridge: Land Preserve Just Outside dfw, TX

Located just one hour west of Ft. Worth near the historic Ranger Hill, Ranger Ridge is a 2,800-acre master-planned community offering the perfect combination of adventure, peace of mind, wildlife, and the outdoor lifestyle.

Memberships to the exclusive Ranger Ridge Preserve are available to all estate owners, but membership is not a requirement of estate ownership.

Natural Wildlife at it's Finest

Located within the estate grounds are 300 acres of common area featuring hiking, biking, and horse trails that wind along the beautiful Walnut Creek, one of the property’s most treasured natural features.

The grounds have been painstakingly restored to their natural magnificence. Our conservation team removed and cleaned up abandoned oil field pipe, eliminated invasive species of trees and plants, and lovingly returned Ranger Ridge to its pre-settlement splendor.

The owners and developers of Ranger Ridge Preserve shared a common vision when the property was purchased. They were committed to building and fostering a community that would embrace and safeguard the land. We believe that giving people an opportunity to share this responsibility to protect this special place would inspire them to build their own home and raise their family in the Ranger Ridge community.

An Unwavering Commitment to Conservation and Stewardship

The owners and planners of Ranger Ridge have many goals for the community, but one simple guiding principle has always been at the heart of the plan – the land comes first. When we acquired the Ranger Ridge property it was littered with abandoned oil field pipe, invasive grasses, fencing and detritus from past ranches, and non-native plants.

Since then, the property has been lovingly restored. Removal of invasive grasses and non-native plants and trees is nearing completion thanks to the tireless efforts of our conservationists and wildlife experts. Many junk materials have been repurposed to create beautifully destressed buildings and facilities. Today, native grasses and trees are abundant and preserved. Natural and manmade water sources now give the ranch the feel nature intended and the aesthetic majesty it possessed more than a hundred years ago.

To ensure the continued wellbeing and yearly improvement of the property, a full-time ranch manager, range manager, and wildlife manager all live on the property, along with a full support staff of twenty employees.
