Banteng Hunting in Texas

The banteng, a wild cattle species native to Southeast Asia, is renowned for its sleek, reddish-brown coat and striking white legs. Mature males develop darker coats, ranging from dark brown to black, while females retain their reddish coloration. Both sexes have gracefully curved horns, with male horns reaching up to 24 inches in length.

Banteng are medium-sized bovines, standing 4 to 5 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing between 1,300 and 1,800 lbs. Known for their elegant build and striking markings, banteng are a sought-after trophy for hunters at Ranger Ridge.
