Blesbuck

Blesbuck Hunting in Texas

The blesbuck, a medium-sized antelope native to South Africa, is easily recognizable by the white blaze that runs down its face, giving the species its name. Both males and females have S-shaped, ringed horns that typically measure 14 to 16 inches in length.

Blesbuck thrive in open plains and grasslands, where they graze on short grasses. They weigh between 120 and 190 lbs., with males generally being larger. Their striking markings and lively behavior make them a sought-after species for hunters looking for a distinctive trophy.
