Dama Gazelle
Dama Gazelle Hunting in Texas
The dama gazelle, one of the rarest and most endangered gazelles, is native to the arid regions of the Sahara Desert. It is known for its elegant, slender build and white coat with reddish-brown markings along its neck and back. Both males and females have slightly curved horns that measure 10 to 14 inches in length.
Dama gazelles typically stand about 36 to 42 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh between 80 and 165 lbs. Their remarkable adaptability to harsh climates and graceful movements make them a highly valued species for hunting and conservation efforts at Ranger Ridge.
