Desert Uriel
Desert Uriel Hunting in Texas
The desert uriel, a hardy wild sheep species, is native to the arid and semi-arid regions of Central and South Asia. Known for their light reddish-brown coats, males also feature a distinctive white bib and long, curved horns that can grow up to 33 inches in length. Females typically have much smaller horns or none at all.
Desert uriels are slightly larger than other sheep species, with males weighing between 150 and 200 lbs. and females weighing 100 to 120 lbs. Their ability to adapt to extreme climates and their impressive horns make them a highly valued addition to Ranger Ridge's hunting opportunities.
